To post the location of a nest on the map you must log in to the website. To log in to the website click on the link “Log In” below the map. On the page with the login form, if you have an account on the website, you fill in your email and your password. Click the “Log In” button and the system will take you to the homepage of the website.

If you do not have an account on the website, click on the “Register” link located below the login form. On the new user registration form page, you should:

  • Fill in the username of your choice.
  • Fill in your email.

Click the “Register” button and the system will take you to the user registration confirmation page. In the email you registered, you will receive a message with a link to set the password for your account on the website. Click the link and you will be taken to the page for setting your password. Enter the password of your choice, which must be at least seven (7) characters long and contain upper and lower case letters, numbers and symbols. After setting the password, press the “Save Password” button. You will be taken to a new page where you will be informed that your password has been successfully reset. Then click the “Login” link and in the form that will appear, fill in your login details.

After logging in to the website, you can enter new nest locations on the map. To achieve this, you will use the “Marker Form”. On this form, you must:

  • Set the nest location. Click the “Add by Click” link. Then go to the map and on the place where the nest is located press the left click of your mouse. A marker will appear at the point you selected.

Then press the “SAVE MARKER” button. A message appears in the center of the page informing you that the nest has been added to the map with a code. You should save this code as it is the serial number of the nest that you will be asked to enter on the monitoring sheets. Press the “OK” button to load the page and upload the monitoring sheets and photos of the new nest.

In the nest monitoring sheets posting form, post the 1st Visit Sheet and the Monitoring Sheet at a later time in the “Monitoring Sheet” field. In the “Photos” field you can upload photos in a zip file.
